So you want to be an opera singer, huh? Wait...who sings opera???

So you want to be an opera singer??  Who would have thought that this would be the road that I'd choose. But then on second thought, I guess it is pretty obvious that I would be involved in music. I have been singing and playing piano my whole life and the more I started thinking about college majors, only one seemed to be the right choice. It's funny though, because people will see me and wonder if I am a rocket scientist or something because I was a nerd in school:) ( I love nerds!) But you actually need many of your wits when it comes to singing opera. Just tackling the language can be  a task, but then don't even mention the artistic elements that must be incorporated. But...... I wouldn't have it any other way!!!
